Dolphins 30 – Steelers 15

The Miami Dolphins defense punished the Steelers vaunted offense in upsetting the Steelers 30-15 on Sunday afternoon.

Pittsburgh entered the game a seven point favorite.

Ben Roethlisberger completed just 19 of 34 passes for 189 yards and threw two inceptions in the loss. Miami sacked Roethlisberger twice and Roethlisberger left the game in the second quarter due to a left leg injury but did return in the second half.

Aside from a Darrius Heyward-Bey 60 yard touchdown run in the first quarter, the Steelers offense had nothing going.

Antonio Brown was held to 4 catches for 39 yards in the loss.

Miami outgained the Steelers 474 to 297. Running Back Jay Ajayi gashed the Steelers on the ground, rushing for 204 yards and 2 TD’s. Miami had 222 total rushing yards. The Dolphins 200+ rushing yards marked the first time the Steelers have allowed 200+ rushing yards in a game since the 2007 season.

Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill was 24/32 for 252 yards in the win for Miami.
