The Franchise Tag window has opened today and the Steelers will have until 4:00 p.m. on March 1 to decide whether to place the franchise tag on star running back Le’Veon Bell.

Negotiations between the Steelers and Bell’s agent Adisa Bakari began last week.

The Franchise tag for running backs is projected to be $12.8 million in 2017.
