Jets 1 – Penguins 0
Jeff Zatkoff made 27 saves on 28 shots in a Penguins 1-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday night. Bryan Little’s penalty shot goal at 14:46 of the first period was the lone goal in the game. Zatkoff rebounded from a disastrous start vs the Bruins a little over a week ago, making several timely saves.
“I thought Zatkoff was solid,” Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said. “He made a couple of really timely saves for us. He kept it close. He gave us a chance to win. That’s all you can ask for from your goaltender.
The Penguins were shutout for the 4th time this season and are 27th in the NHL averaging 2.29 goals per game.
