After hitting 14 homers in Triple-A Indy last season, Josh Bell clubbed his 20th home run of the season and drove in 3 runs for the Pirates in a 7-5 win over the Tigers on Thursday afternoon.
Bell hit a 2-run homer in the third for a 4-2 lead and is now up to 20 homers and 62 RBIs on the season. Bell’s homer traveled 437 feet and had an exit velocity of 106.3.
Bell having a great rookie year, is 3rd among all switch hitters in the Majors in home runs.
