Penguins defenseman Kris Letang will remain out of the lineup tonight vs the New York Islanders but is inching closer to being back in the lineup.

Letang is a possibility to play Saturday night.

“He’s involved in contact drills and is getting a lot closer,” Mike Sullivan said this morning.
