Penguins center Evgeni Malkin skated on his own again today but has yet to join his teammates for practice and was, as expected, officially ruled out by head coach Mike Sullivan for the Penguins back-to-back games this weekend vs Tampa Bay and Buffalo.

Pittsburgh is 4-2-1 in their first seven games without Malkin.
