Wheaton was a nightmare for the Seahawks to defend with four-20+ yard catches, including a 69 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Wheaton also had a 41 yard reception in the second quarter that setup DeAngelo Williams’ 6 yard TD run to put the Steelers ahead 18-14.
Coming into the contest Wheaton had 16 receptions for 273 yards and 1 TD on the season and just 7 receptions for 45 yards over his previous five games.
