The Dallas Stars have traded winger Patrick Eaves to the Anaheim Ducks for a conditional 2017 second round pick. If the Ducks reach the third round and Eaves appears in 50% of Anaheim’s playoff games, the draft choice becomes a 2017 first rounder.

Interest was significant in Eaves with as many as 10 teams in the mix.
