The Florida Panthers have acquired Jiri Hudler from the Calgary Flames, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. The Flames received a second and fourth round pick.
The Panthers are also closing in on a deal for Edmonton’s Teddy Purcell, the return reportedly a third round pick going to Edmonton.
Hudler has 10 goals and 25 assists in 53 games this season. Last year Hudler had a career year with 31 goals, 76 points. Purcell has 11 goals, 21 assists in 62 games.
