Pitt (3-1) opened up ACC play on the road with an impressive 17-13 win over Virginia Tech (2-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Pat Narduzzi’s stamp on Pitt’s defense showed up in a big way as the Panthers held the Hokies to just 100 yards in total offense, 9 yards rushing, forcing 3 turnovers and sacking Virginia-Tech quarterback Brenden Motley seven times.
Panthers running back Qadree Ollison (19 CAR – 122 Yards – 1 TD) went over 100 rushing yards for the second time this season. QB Nathan Peterman was 9/15 for 110 yards, TD.
