5 – 2 (F)

(FLA Leads Series, 3-2)

A Game 4 come from behind overtime win breathed life back into the Edmonton Oilers with home-ice on their side. The Florida Panthers, though, on Saturday night showed why they are a monster and are now one way away from back-to-back Stanley Cups. Start to finish Florida dictated play in all three zones and this really three straight games now where Florida has been able to play to their strength’s the longer the series is going. Among the burning questions for Edmonton trying to stave off elimination Tuesday Night:

  • Goaltending: I’d go back to Stuart Skinner on a short-leash for Game 6
  • Connor McDavid:  Florida has been stout defensively in Games 3-5 of not allowing McDavid time and space after he skated through them in Games 1-2. Tuesday night is going to be a major pressure type game for McDavid as it should be when we’re talking about someone who’s going to end up as one of the greatest players to ever play the game. Does he have his Mark Messier type moment in Game 6?
