It was goals galore in Jersey. The Penguins 7-4 win over the Devils and a Blue Jackets 5-4 loss to Winnipeg, clinched second place and home-ice for the Penguins in Round 1. The win gave the Penguins 111 points, the second most in franchise history.
The Penguins got goals from seven different players, scoring 4 even strength goals, 2 power play goals and a shorthanded goal. Sidney Crosby had two assist night, including a spectacular no-look, backhand pass to Conor Sheary for a goal.
