The Pittsburgh Penguins are scouting the Buffalo Sabres for the second straight night. The Penguins this month have planned to scout the Sabres often leading up to the trade deadline.
A primary player of interest continues to be defenseman Dmitry Kulikov.
Assistant GM Jason Botterill was in attendance last night for Sabres-Leafs, a scouting trip for Botterill that was just put on his schedule a few days ago, sources say. The Penguins are also represented again tonight again for Sabres – Canucks. Pittsburgh host the Canucks Tuesday night.
