The Pittsburgh Penguins (43-25-8, 94 pts) rallied from a 3-0 first period deficit, earning a 5-4 shootout win over the Buffalo Sabres (31-35-11, 73 pts) on Tuesday night
Pittsburgh roared back with 4 second period goals, getting goals from Ben Lovejoy (4), Conor Sheary (6), Tom Kuhnhackl (4) and Nick Bonino (7) in the period.
Zach Bogosian (7) tied the game, 2:13 into the third, and after a scoreless OT, Pittsburgh secured the win in the shootout with shootout goals from Kris Letang, Phil Kessel. Matt Murray stopped both Sabre shooters.
