Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports Lightning winger Ryan Callahan has no hearing scheduled with the NHL Department of Player Safety and will not be suspended. Callahan received a 5-minute major early in the first period when he hit Kris Letang from behind into the left corner of the boards.

Callahan after the game said Letang turned that led to the unfortunate hit. Apparently the league see’s it the same way.

“I’m trying to ride him in there obviously on the fore-check, and unfortunately, he turns at the last second,” Callahan said.
