Will James Harrison actually dress Sunday and get on the field?
After playing only seven snaps this season and a healthy scratch the last two games, Steelers defensive coordinator Keith Butler says Harrison will play vs Kansas City.
How much Butler wouldn’t specify except that Harrison will be seen.
“It’s always good to have James Harrison when you’re playing Kansas City and let their offensive tackle (Eric Fisher) see him,” Butler said.
Harrison with 81.5 career sacks (79.5 as a Steeler) has had no opportunity this season to add to his total.
Why might the coaches actually give Harrison some looks on Sunday?
He had 6 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 stuffs, and 2 QB hits in the Steelers 18-16 playoff win over the Chiefs last January. Harrison also drew a holding penalty on LT Eric Fischer during the Chiefs 2-pt conversation that would have tied the game.
