WPG Jets outscore Penguins 6-1 over final two periods of play

5-0 Start: The Winnipeg Jets (5-0-0, 10 pts) outscored the Pittsburgh Penguins (3-4-0, 6 pts) 6-1 in the final forty minutes of play, en route to a 6-3 win on Sunday afternoon. Winnipeg improves to 5-0 on the season with a +15 Goal Differential. Lars Eller (4) scored twice and Kevin Hayes (3) also scored in the loss for Pittsburgh. Alex Nedeljkovic got the start and turned aside all 11-shots he faced in the first period before the dam broke in the second period. Nedeljkovic allowed 5 goals on 36 shots in his first outing of the season. Tristan Jarry was inactive as Joel Blomqvist served as the backup.
