Josh Harrison extending his hitting streak to 10 games, set the tone for the Pirates in the first inning in getting to Mets ace Matt Harvey.
Harrison led off the game with a leadoff single to left and then stole second. Andrew McCutchen would drive in Harrison with a 2-run homer as the Pirates got to Harvey immediately in the first inning and Harvey never recovered.
Harrison in the win went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Harrison’s RBI double to right in the fourth inning, pushed the Pirates lead to 7-1. Harrison is 21-43 (.488) over his last 10 games.
