Josh Harrison went 1-for-3 with a 3-run home run, a stolen base, and a walk in leading the Pirates to a 7-2 win over the Phillies on Tuesday night. Harrison broke a 0-0 tie in the fourth inning with a three-run blast off starter Sean O’Sullivan and Harrison’s performance at the plate was a welcomed sight for his manager.
“Time will tell,” Clint Hurdle told reporters Tuesday night in regards to whether this is a start of Harrison breaking out. “I’m just gonna watch him play, give him more games and at-bats. I believe he’ll find it, and be the guy we’ve seen.”
