Forward Dustin Jeffrey will get an opportunity to see top-6 minutes tonight when the Penguins face the New York Rangers at MSG.
Forward Mark Letestu left the Penguins morning skate due to a lower body injury and will fly back to Pittsburgh this afternoon to be re-evaluated.
With Letestu out of the lineup tonight, Dustin Jeffrey will move up to the second line and center Chris Kunitz and Pascal Dupuis.
Jeffrey is also expected to see minutes with the Penguins first power play unit.
Enforcer Eric Godard will make his return to the lineup, appearing in his first game since December 26th. Godard has been sidelined with a broken orbital bone.
The Penguins lines will set up like this:
Cooke – Staal – Kennedy
Kunitz – Jeffrey – Dupuis
Rupp – Talbot – Conner
Asham – Adams – Godard
