Goaltender Marc Andre Fleury earned his 14th win of the season Thursday night and 198th victory of his career. According to Elias Sports Bureau, should Fleury (27 years, 2 days old) earn two wins within the next 22 days, he will become the fourth-youngest netminder to win 200 games during the Expansion Era (since 1967-68). Grant Fehr was the fastest goaltender to 200 wins (26 years, 122 days) Former Penguin Tom Barrasso (26 years, 354 days) was the third fastest to 200. Patrick Roy (27 years, 26 days) is currently fourth and Fleury will surely pass him, barring an injury. |
