Morning skate update
The Penguins (97 pts) just concluded their morning skate in Montreal. A source at the arena tells me defenseman Mark Eaton will be a healthy scratch
Philippe Boucher will remain in the lineup and Hal Gill will be back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch on Thursday.
The lines in the morning skate were
Kunitz – Crosby – Guerin
Fedotenko – Malkin – Sykora
Cooke – Staal – Kennedy
Dupuis – Talbot – Godard
Extras: Adams, Satan
Defensemen
Orpik – Gonchar
Gill – Letang
Scuderi – Boucher
Goaltender: Marc Andre Fleury will start in goal
Scratches: Mark Eaton, Miroslav Satan, Craig Adams?
Lineupnews: Satan takes a few shifts with Malkin
My source tells me Bylsma would not commit as to which forwards were sitting.
Miroslav Satan did take a few shifts on Evgeni Malkin’s left wing and Eric Godard/Craig Adams alternated on the 4th line during drills.
I will keep you updated when I can get some confirmation but I can confirm that Mark Eaton will be a healthy scratch.
Based on reps in the morning skate, it does appear Satan and Adams will be healthy scratches tonight
Updated: 1:02 p.m. – Satan out according to my source
