Morning Skate Updates
PITTSBURGH — The Penguins return to home ice tonight against the Boston Bruins. The Penguins today at their morning skate are doing a great thing, honoring wounded warriors to commemorate Veterans Days.
The Penguins will honor 12 local wounded veterans at tonight’s game. The wounded warriors and their families are also special guests at the morning skate.

10:58 a.m. – Goaltender Brent Johnson was the first goaltender off the ice and he is expected to get the start.
10:30 a.m. – The morning skate is underway and the players are breaking into their lines and D-pairs. Mike Comrie and Chris Conner are both skating on the 5th line and have not taking a line rush with one of the top-4 lines.
Evgeni Malkin will center Matt Cooke and Arron Asham tonight.
Also, defenseman Ben Lovejoy is expected to return to the lineup taking a regular shift with Alex Goligoski as the 3rd pair.

10:20 a.m. – Forward Mike Comrie who did not practice on Tuesday due to an illness is participating in the morning skate. Chris Conner is also participating in the skate.
10:00 a.m. – The Pittsburgh Penguins have a flu bug going around and have recalled forward Chris Conner this morning. Conner has 3 goals and 6 assists on the season. He is expected to participate in their morning skate.
