Joe Paterno and the Penn State Nittany Lions are picking up steam on the recruiting trail.

J. J. Denman (6-foot-6, 310lbs), a highly recruited offensive lineman from Pennsbury HS (Fairless Hills, Pa.), has accepted a Class of 2012 offer from Penn State.
“Penn State had all of the things that I was looking for,” Denman told phillyburbs.com. “It’s playing in the Big Ten, for an elite level program that’s going to help me develop not just as a player, but as a student.”
Denman had over 15 offers, including one from Pittsburgh. The Panthers were not among his final handful of teams.
Denman is the 4th ESPNU 150 Watchlist player the Lions have landed for 2012.
Penn State has 8 commitments for 2012.
