9:02 a.m. – Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth reached agreement Friday on a seven-year, $100 million with the Washington Redskins according to reports.
9:38 a.m. – Reports indicate the Ravens will lose Ray Lewis. Linebacker Bart Scott signed with the Jets.
10:23 a.m. – It’s believed Anthony Smith has received calls from atleast 6 teams. Cardinals and Falcons showing significant interest.
10: 25 a.m. – Steelers remain in discussions Chris Kemoeatu and have a offer on the table. Kemoeatu has a received a 4 year-offer from the New York Jets. Kemoeatu is still considering the Steelers but the Steelers offer is around $3.8 million per season.
10:29 a.m. – Steelers have made a two year deal to Trai Essex.
10:33 a.m. – Sources indicate Bryant McFadden has scheduled visits to Arizona and Detroit. Six teams are showing significant interest. The others are
Miami, Cleveland, NYJ, New England. Green Bay has made an inquiry. A lot of speculation that McFadden is waiting on Miami.
10:42 a.m. – The Houston Texans have signed CB Eugene Wilson to a three-year, $11.3 million deal according to the Houston Chronicle.
11:00 a.m. – First player I’ve heard the Steelers interested in. As expected it’s Titans Kick returner Chris Carr. Rumor has it he may be visiting the Steelers on Monday
11:31 a.m. – Going to be a rough free agency for the Baltimore Ravens. Bart Scott has an agreement in place with the Jets, Ray Lewis appears to be signing elsewhere and center Justin Brown will likely not re-sign with the Ravens.
11:34 a.m. – At the right price the Steelers are interested in Bucs receiver Michael Clayton. Tomlin was a coach with the Bucs when Clayton entered the NFL.
11:54 a.m. – James Walker of ESPN writes, that the Albert Haynesworth signing helps the Steelers
12:27 p.m. – More shakeup in the AFC North as the Browns have traded tight end Kellen Winslow to Tampa Bay.
12:28 p.m. – Cornerback Bryant McFadden is believed to have a 6 year offer on the table from the Detroit Lions with $14-$16 million in guaranteed money. Rosenhaus is trying to get that price up. McFadden has scheduled visits to Detroit and Arizona. I’m told the Jets have dropped out. Miami and New England remain on the outside. A sleeper team is the Broncos.
12: 30 p.m. – Cornerback Dominquie Foxworth receives $16.5¬† million guarantees from the Baltimore Ravens.
12: 59 p.m. – I’m hearing we may see a Pittsburgh – Detroit swap. Lions sign Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden, Steelers sign Lions cornerback Leigh Bodden. At 6-1, 196 lbs, Steelers like his size. He is believed to be under consideration. McFadden has an offer on the table from Lions. Jets are out according to source.
1:25 p.m. – The Steelers out of the Kemoeatu sweepstakes. Never increased their three year offer which was in the range of $3.8 million.
1:26 p.m. – Correction: The offer to Kemoeatu was $3.8 million per season. The Jets increased their offer, which led to the Steelers dropping out.
1: 33 p.m. Nate Washington has two offers on the table from the Buccaneers and Lions.
1: 43 p.m. – Drew Rosenhaus has been hoping to get the Denver Broncos to get into the McFadden sweepstakes but right now McFadden is not scheduled to visit the Broncos. The reason for that might be because the Broncos are entertaining Eagles safety Brian Dawkins. There’s rumors out there that the Buccaneers may join the McFadden sweepstakes.
Right now it looks like the Cards, Lions, Dolphins, Patriots, Browns, and possibily the Bucs and Broncos if they miss out on Brian Dawkins.
1:46 p.m. – Cornerback Leigh Bodden is visiting an AFC East team today. Likely Pats or Jets
1: 55 p.m. – Steelers are believed to be out of the running for Kemoeatu as the Jets have added an extra year ( offer in the $4.2 – $4.4 million range) but Kemoeatu has given the Steelers the right to match the offer. ¬†Waiting for more details

2:22 p.m. – New England Patriots have traded linebacker Mike Vrabel to Kansas City reports Adam Schefter
2: 35 p.m. – Chris Kemoeatu gave the Steelers the right to match the New York Jets offer this afternoon and they have as the Steelers and Kemoeatu have agreed to a 5 year – $20 million deal.
