Harrison will receive fine or suspension from league
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison appears to be in trouble with the National Football League once again.
Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reported on Monday night countdown that Harrison will be fined by the league for a late hit on New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees, during the 4th quarter of Sunday night’s game.
Schefter said a suspension was believed to be a possibility based on Harrison being a repeat offender, but Schefter claims that scenario is very unlikely.
Harrison was fined $75,000 by the league two weeks ago.
Harrison who threatened retirement, believes he is being targeted by the league. When contacted, Harrison’s agent Bill Parse declined comment due to the NFL being in the process of reviewing the hit.
