Hartwig joining AFC North Rival?
Former Pittsburgh Steelers center Justin Hartwig remains unsigned but could be joining a familiar foe. Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Hartwig has been involved in talks with the Cincinnati Bengals and according to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL network, the Bengals will be bringing Hartwig in for a workout.
Jason Rosenhaus, an associate with Rosenhaus Sports confirmed via email that Hartwig will be working out for the Bengals on Tuesday.
There is sense that Hartwig will sign with the Bengals if he passes a physical and that a deal could be agreed upon by Wednesday.
The 9-year veteran was released by the Steelers this month, just a year after signing a four year extension that included a signing bonus upwards of $2 million.
The Bengals lost to the New England Patriots 38-24 in week 1.
