Pittsburgh Penguins enforcer Eric Godard will be sidelined for up to 4-6 weeks, head coach Dan Bylsma announced this morning.
“Eric Godard is 4-6 weeks with a groin injury,” Dan Bylsma said. “He is still be evaluated with where he is at with that. It will be long term.”
There are indications that Godard will require surgery, which could put an end to his season with the Penguins.
The injury to Godard does open up a forwardspot for the Penguins long-term to have the ability to run four lines with twelve forwards, which hasn’t been the case due to Godard’s limited ability as a player.
