Mike Sullivan’s return to Pittsburgh was a victorious one for the Penguins All-Time Winningest coach. Adam Fox had a big night for with 2 goals, 1 assist as the New York Rangers (2-1-0, 4 pts) took tonight’s game over from the second period on and never looked back in a 6-1 thrashing of the Pittsburgh Penguins (2-1-0, 4 pts) on Saturday Night @ PPG Paints Arena. It was a trifecta in a disastrous night for the Penguins in allowing 3 even strength goals, 2 power play goals and 1 shorthanded goal.  Pittsburgh managed just 19 shots on Igor Shesterkin, including just 14 through 50 minutes of play.

Goaltender Arturs Silovs struggled mightily, allowing 6 goals on 30 shots, while Penguins Rookie Ben Kindel was a lone bright spot for the Penguins in scoring his first career NHL goal in the second period on a blistering shot on the rush.
