Blysma alters lines in preparation for game 6
Head coach Dan Bylsma appears to be leaning towards altering his top-2 lines for tonight’s game.
Bylsma has moved Pascal Dupuis up to the top line with Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz, while moving Bill Guerin to Evgeni Malkin’s right wing.
Malkin has zero even strength points in the series. Malkin has seen a number of wingers this series, ranging from the likes of Alexei Ponikarovsky, Ruslan Fedotenko, Max Talbot, and Tyler Kennedy.
The Penguins third and fourth line units will remain the same.
The Penguins 5th line this morning was Alexei Ponikarovsky – Chris Conner and Ruslan Fedotenko. Fedotenko and Ponikarovsky will be healthy scratches for the second consecutive game.
Eight defensemen traveled with the team to Montreal. Pittsburgh’s top-3 pairings remained the same this morning.
Jay McKee was the seventh defenseman and will sit for the fifth straight game. Ben Lovejoy did not skate this morning.
