PENGUINS TRADE DEADLINE DAY ANALYSIS

PIT Receives: D Conor Timmins, F Connor Dewar

TOR Receives: 2025 Fifth Round Pick

Analysis: Pittsburgh help facilitate a three-way trade between Boston and Toronto that saw the Leafs trade for Bruins D Brandon Carlo. Timmins, 26, an RFA at seasons end, gives the Penguins a serviceable third pair Right D defenseman with good size and a little physicality. PIT Receives: 2027 3rd Round Pick, F Chase Stillman, F Max Graham

NJD Receives: Cody Glass, Jonathan Gruden

Analysis: Pittsburgh did not go into the week gung-ho on trading Cody Glass but the whispers for a few weeks was the team was getting the most action of anybody on Glass. PIT Receives: 2025 2nd-round pick

WSH Receives: Anthony Beauvillier

Analysis: Sellers Market, Sellers Market, Sellers Market…..A late 2025 2nd-rounder is regarded this year as the equivalent of a late 4th-rounder in a good draft but still a very nice haul for Beauvillier. Pittsburgh and Washington in their two dealings this season has seen the Penguins turn Anthony Beauvillier and Lars Eller into three draft picks.
