The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to terms with Auburn third baseman Daniel Gamache, the team’s 6th round pick and Maine outfielder Taylor Lewis, the team’s 10th round pick.
Gamache had his season end early because of hand surgery after hitting .299 with five home runs and 29 RBIs.
Lewis was the Black Bears’ team captain this year, hitting .287 with 20 stolen bases. He is a left-handed hitter who impressed scouts by running the 60-yard dash in just 6.5 seconds.
