Defenseman Kris Letang surgery underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured finger on his left hang, the team announced. In a best case scenario, the recovery period is eight weeks as there were fears inside the organization after the season of a much longer recovery period was going to be needed. Letang, 37, appeared in all 82 games this past season, totaling 10 goals and 41 assists.
