Paul Skenes (4-0, 2.06 ERA) dazzled once again Saturday Afternoon, striking out 9 and allowing just one run over six innings in a Pirates 2-1 loss to the Braves. For the Pirates it would be a second straight loss in a Skenes start, despite Skenes allowing just two runs over his last 13 innings pitched. How good has Skenes been over his last four straight? He has an 1.07 ERA to go with 32 strikeouts and most impressive is the ability to never get rattled and get out of jams. Enjoy the Greatness we’re already Seeing.
