Padres 3 – Pirates 0: The San Diego Padres ( handed the Pittsburgh Pirates (56-63) their ninth straight loss. Luis Ortiz allowed just 3 hits and 1 earned run, but the Pirates managed just one extra base hit in the loss and were 0-7 with runners in scoring position. Pittsburgh left eight on base in the loss. Falling to 56-63 on the season, the Pirates suddenly have the ninth worst record in MLB……
