Post-Morning Skate Buzz
James Neal (lower body), Steve Sullivan (lower body) and Matt Niskanen (upper body) will all not play tonight, head coach Dan Bylsma said.
Bylsma though indicates that all three players will be ready for the playoffs. Niskanen and Sullivan are both expected to be shutdown for the regular season, and Bylsma hinted at the same with Neal.
The injuries to Sullivan and Neal are believed to be minor, while Niskanen according to a source reaggravated his previous shoulder injury.
— Brian Strait will replace Niskanen in the lineup, while Richard Park and Eric Tangradi will move into the lineup up front.
— Marc Andre Fleury will start in goal
— There’s some talk that Bylsma’s likely to reunite Brooks Orpik – Kris Letang as a No. 1 pairing by the playoffs. We could see that tonight.
— The Rangers have confirmed Marty Biron will get the start in goal.
