Changes to the Pittsburgh Steelers special teams unit will be made this week and there could be a few veterans on their way out of town.
The Pittsburgh Steelers worked out two “special teams” veterans this morning at the South Side Facility and will bring in another veteran for a third workout this afternoon as the Steelers look to improve their kick coverage units.
One veteran linebacker the Steelers worked out was Rocky Bioman, sources tell TIOPS.
One veteran who could be on his way out is cornerback Keiwan Ratliff. Head coach Mike Tomlin indicated that starters will be used on special teams this week against Baltimore after Tomlin was coy about the idea last week.
The Steelers have given up four kickoff returns for touchdowns in the past five games.
