Shero met with coaching staff this afternoon as Pittsburgh looks to the off-season
While Ray Shero and his scouting staff have held a number of meetings to prepare for the off-season, this afternoon Shero met with the coaching staff to get their thoughts on the Penguins off-season approach.
Not much has been leaked to this point but a source close to the situation tells me Dan Bylsma has named Ruslan Fedotenko as a #1 priority.
Player evaluations were also conducted during the meeting including evaluations for players from the farm team that could push for a roster spot coming out of camp.
Players such as Ben Lovejoy, Alex Goligoski and Dustin Jeffrey could have an affect on the Penguins off-season plans.
More Rumors
**Pittsburgh will pick up talks with Ruslan Fedotenko later this week and Ray Shero will reach out to Bill Guerin and begin contract talks with Guerin by the weekend.
All remains quiet on the Rob Scuderi front for now.
