Since draft weekend, there’s been lots and lots of chatter in league circles indicating the Penguins plan to make a run at the former Penguin. Scuderi, 34, made $3.4 million in 2013 and is engaged in negotiations with the LA Kings on a multi-year deal.
Penguins officials appear intrigued about Scuderi as a d-partner for Kris Letang.
Could the two sides make the numbers work? That remains to be seen. Word has been Scuderi seeking $4 million per season from LA on a three year deal.
