The NFL’s Toughest Schedule? The Pittsburgh Steelers 2024 is certainly a unique one. Pittsburgh will open the season with three of their first four games on the road. Among the highlights:
Revenge games to open the season. The Arthur Smith Revenge Game Week 1, followed by Russell Wilson’s return to Denver in a highly anticipated matchup of Wilson vs Sean Payton. John Harbaugh and the LA Chargers come to town Week 3 for Pittsburgh’s home Opener:
Two of the NFL’s most historic franchises square off for Sunday Night Football in Week 5 for Steelers – Cowboys that starts a span of three prime time games in four weeks for the Steelers as Aaron Rodgers and the Jets come to Pittsburgh week 7 and Pittsburgh then has the Giants at home for Monday Night Football in week 8.
Week 11 through Week 18 is something else. Pittsburgh doesn’t play a division foe until Week 11 when hosting the Baltimore Ravens. Six of their final eight games will be inside the division and it’s a gauntlet to finish the season.
From December 15th – December 25th Pittsburgh will play three games in 10 days, @ Philadelphia for Week 15, followed by the Ravens (12/21) and Chiefs (12/25) with just three days’ rest between games.
