Steelers @ Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers finish out the regular season in pivotal game that not only involves possibility of earning a first round bye but the Steelers could still lock up No. 1 seed with a Patriots and Ravens loss. New England trails Buffalo 21-20 in the third quarter
(updated: New England has locked up the no. 1 seed)
The Steelers will have Ben Roethlisberger back under center and the intention from the Steelers coaching staff is to play Roethlisberger the entire game if need be. Pittsburgh will be scoreboard watching as Cincinnati hosts Baltimore at 4:15
Also returning to the starting lineup for the Steelers is Maurkice Pouncey at center and Chris Kemoeatu at left guard. Another strong game for Kemoeatu could earn him another start at guard in the playoffs.
Seneca Wallace starts at quarterback for Cleveland and an argument can be made that the Browns are better at the quarterback position when Wallace is behind center. Cleveland is playing well defensively and this won’t be a pushover game by any means. The forecast is also awful with wind gusts up to 25 mph and soggy field conditions due to rain
A story line for the Steelers is Hines Ward who needs 5 catches to reach 1,000 catches and whether the Steelers will try to get him his catches. Emmanuel Sanders, the Steelers no. 3 receiver returns to the lineup
Jason Worilds gets the start at LOLB as LaMarr Woodley is inactive
