In a bold move, the Pittsburgh Steelers have traded up to the No. 10 pick and selected Michigan linebacker Devin Bush.[hide]
The price was costly but this is a draft where if you wanted a true impact player, you had to get into the top-10.
By moving up to 10th selection, the Steelers will send the 20th pick, 52nd pick, and a 2020 3rd rounder to Denver.
The Steelers get a dynamic inside linebacker in Bush, who combines great on-field production with elite speed, running a 4.4. For a team that badly lacked side to side speed from their linebacking group in 2018, there just wasn’t a better fit than Bush landing with the Steelers who is a great off-ball blitzer and a reckoning force in producing splash.
“Pound for pound best player in the draft,” ESPN’s Louis Riddick said on the telecast.
