The Pittsburgh Steelers have added depth at linebacker, agreeing to a one year, $795,000 deal with 26 year old linebacker Arthur Moats (6-2, 252). The 4 year veteran started 12 games for the Buffalo Bills in 2013 and had 54 tackles and no sacks. Moats played primarily weakside linebacker for the Bills and is viewed as being capable as playing inside and outside linebacker in a 3-4. He has not recorded a sack since the 2011 season. Moats has made 20 career stats. One Steelers source says Moats is likely to play inside linebacker here and be a big contributor on special teams. |
