The Steelers and Rudolph began discussions on Tuesday where if the team brings in anybody but Aaron Rodgers, the possibility exists where he will be granted an opportunity to compete. If Rodgers turns down Pittsburgh, top Steelers officials had been intrigued early this week about a [hide] Russell Wilson/Mason Rudolph pairing. However, the relationship between the Steelers and Wilson has taken a major hit and it’s not clear if it is salvageable. Wilson is visiting the Cleveland Browns today where there is serious consideration from Wilson to sign with, if Wilson and his camp are confident the Browns are not taking a quarterback at #2, per source.
