A lifeless Penguins that got stomped in back-to-back games will have an infusion of some young talent for the final eight games.
[hide] Management has recalled top forward prospects Ville Koivunen and Rutger McGroarty from Wilkes Barre. Koivunen has had a dominant rookie season with 21 goals and 55 points. His 1-on-1 ability, high hockey IQ and playmaking presence has catapulted him to top prospect status in the organization. Meanwhile, McGroarty doesn’t have the numbers of Koivunen but has been very good over the last couple months, leading Wilkes Barre with 18 points since February 15th. Both are being counted on for Top-9 roles next season. [/hide]
