Tuesday Notes
SOUTHPOINTE — The Penguins are about to take the ice at 11:00 a.m. for a morning workout at Southpointe. A good sign on the injury front prior to practice as winger Tyler Kennedy is on the ice going through some individual workouts.
Kennedy who was a late scratch prior to Saturday’s game, has 14 goals on the season and has been one of Pittsburgh’s better forwards. He has a lower body injury and his injury appears to be short-term.
Elsewhere on the injury front, Chris Kunitz will not play tomorrow night, while Paul Martin will return to the lineup for the Penguins on the blueline.
