RD 1, #20 | Steelers select OT Troy Fautanu

— Dead set on going O-line in Round 1, a run on QB’s saw things fall perfectly for the Steelers in selecting Offensive Tackle Troy Fautanu with the 2oth overall pick. Fautanu was a player the Steelers had rated as a top-10 prospect on their draft board and he is regarded as being immediately ready to play in 2024.

QB Mason Rudolph is off the board agreeing to a one year, $3.6 Million contract with the Tennessee Titans. Rudolph will go to Tennessee to backup second-year QB Will Levis. NFL teams did not view Rudolph as starter caliber and the proof is in the money/situation as Rudolph failed to land in a place where he would have the chance to start.
