Doumit 5-for-9 in career against Billingsley, batted .400 against Dodgers last season

Ryan Doumit’s whose playing well of late in a secondary role, will stay in the lineup tonight over Chris Snyder. Doumit’s three-run homer in the 8th inning of Sunday’s game lifted the Pirates to a 5-4 victory. Doumit is 3-for-6 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI’s in his last two games. Against tonight’s Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley, Doumit is 5-9 in his career. Last season Doumit hit .400 (10-for-25) against the Dodgers.
