The Consol Energy Center has found another sports tenant. A press conference is planned for Friday at 9:30 a.m. where an expansion Arena Football League team will be introduced to the media.
The new team’s ownership led by former Steelers great Lynn Swann will be on hand, and they will introduce the name and logo.
The Arena Football League will consist of 19 teams in 2011. The regular season begins in April, 2011
The team though will not be called the "River Wizards" as first reported, a source close to the situation now tells me.
