Josh Bell to play first base in Arizona Fall League

  • With a crowded outfield at the Major League Level, top hitting prospect Josh Bell has agreed to play first base in the Arizona Fall League.
    Bell whose estimated arrival to the Majors is 2016, has a line of .287/.343/.309 with 0 home runs and 7 RBIs for Double-A Altoona. He has dealt with injuries limiting his action after getting the promotion from single A where he hit .335 with 9 home runs, 53 RBIs. Bell hasn’t played since August 12.
